Specialist Support for Sensory Impairments
Sensory impairments, including visual impairment, hearing loss, and dual sensory loss (deafblindness), can significantly impact a person's independence, confidence, and quality of life. Visual impairment can range from partial sight to complete blindness, and each individual's needs are different. Our carers are trained to support people with visual impairments by assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.

We use clear communication strategies, speak at an appropriate pace and volume, and are patient and attentive listeners.
